Hello all,

This is to give you all some more info about the event coming up this next Sunday. Sorry that I haven't had this out sooner but life has a way of getting the way some times.

Check in runs from 7:30 to 8:45 with everyone needing to be at their starting holes before 9am for round 1 start. The round is expected to take 2 - 2.5 hours, and then one hour lunch after last card ... more

Hello all,

This is to give you all some more info about the event coming up this next Sunday. Sorry that I haven't had this out sooner but life has a way of getting the way some times.

1) Schedule has been put up on https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Cumbo_Safari_2_No_Snow_2023

Check in runs from 7:30 to 8:45 with everyone needing to be at their starting holes before 9am for round 1 start. The round is expected to take 2 - 2.5 hours, and then one hour lunch after last card is turned in. Then we do it all again.

2) Players pack is going to be the customized jersey only. For those that signed up after July 7th, I'll be placing the order for your jerseys 8/14 with a 2 week turnaround time. Then we can figure out how I get them to you.

3) Layout is still TBD. We have had heavy rains and the city of Fountain has the disc golf course as low on their priority list of getting mowed. We will be playing an altered layout of Cumberland Green but not as altered as I would have liked. Sorry for that as well, only so much I can do.

4) This is a trophy only event. I have bag tag trophies for the top 3 of each division that you can wear proudly on your bag at all times.

I am hoping to get out to the course here this week but will for sure be there Saturday morning for final set up. If I have other updates, I'll post them to the comment section on disc golf scene.

I have a few other things I am working on to help improve the event so stay tuned there too!

The first order of jerseys has been compiled and sent off. Everyone that has signed up as of now is in the bracket of a jersey is coming in for them.

Everyone else that signs up from this point on will have to wait until after the event when I make the 2nd order.

Hey all, please be sure to read the refund policy regarding this event. If you sign up between now and July 7th, you will have your jersey for you at the event.

If you need to cancel for whatever reason before July 7th, I can offer you a refund.

After July 7th, you will instead get removed from the list and have your jersey sent to you via mail instead.

Anyone that signs up after July 8th will get full refund rights less fees, but you also will not get your jersey until 6 - 8 weeks after the event.
