About this tournament
Welcome to the 2023 Power of the Tribe tournament presented by Griplock Athletics!
This will be a non-sanctioned amateur tournament with $2000 added cash for payouts. There will be CTP prizes and a longest distance prize on hole 15 along with optional raffles and free lunch! Players pack will be a limited edition tournament jersey.
One more thing! There will be a Special CTP on 18 for a chance to win a new MVP pro disc golf basket. More prizes to come.
Participants will compete in two rounds of non-sanctioned play with different layouts for each round. It will be open to all players rated 945 and lower; however, you do not need a PDGA membership or rating to play.
If you do not have a PDGA rating you must compete in MA1 at minimum unless discussed with me. If you do not have a current or recent PDGA rating, use your best judgment to determine whether or not you are in fact an amateur player. The TD reserves the right to deny entry to any player into the tournament if a player does not have a rating.
A pool= MA1= 945 or lower
B pool= MA2 = 900 or lower
Per Player Fees:
$35 value of exclusive players pack jersey
$10 Value for lunch (TBD)
$2 greens fees for Broken Chains
$2 to event staff
$16 for payouts
$2000 additional cash to be distributed to each division based on percentage of participants competing. Final payout structure to be determined as tournament closes.
Top 40% of players in each division will cash!
