Crossover proudly presents: The Crossover Tour Summer #1 2021 at County Farm.
The Crossover Tour is a series of tournaments designed to give players tournament more experience.
It's hard to get into tournaments in 2021. These events are NON-PDGA sanctioned, but modeled after them. With the new influx of players to the local disc golf scene, the options are very limited on how to gain valuable experience to those who want to do PDGA tournaments in their future. The goal of this series of events is to provide low cost, tournament experience to newer players, players who are developing their skills, masters eligible players (over 40), women, and juniors.
These events will be mirrored after PDGA tournaments to give all players the most authentic experience available. We will use a shotgun start format that will begin a 9:30a. These are 2 rounds events.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY....
If you are a male 19 years and older you are NOT eligible if you have a rating of PDGA rating of 899 or higher.
The following divisions will be available for players who meet the criteria listed above. A PDGA # is not required and does not eliminate you.
INT -
-any male who is PDGA rated between 900-935
REC -
- any male who is PDGA rated between 850-899
- any male who has participated in a previous Crossover Tour and finished in the Top 10
Novice -
- any male who is PDGA rated lower than 850
- any male who has never competed in a PDGA tournament before
40+ - any AM male 40 years or older rated lower than 899
50+ - any AM male 50 years or older rated lower than 899
60+ - any AM male 60 years or older rated lower than 899
Woman A - any woman rated higher than 775
Woman B - any woman rated lower than 775
JR15 - There is a male and female division for juniors 15 and younger
JR12 - There is a male and female division for juniors 12 and younger
(All juniors 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult during their round)
The breakdown of each $20 entry fee will be as follows: $5 to Crossover, $3 to ACE fund, $3 to CTP's. Each entry fee will include an ACE fund and CTP's at each event. It also will include payout for the top 40%. These payouts will be in Crossover Cash that can be used for disc golf merchandise. If no ACE's are hit, there will be a throw off with the fund split 60/40 between the top 2 closest.
You must preregister and there will be no day of sign ups.
We hope everyone who can used these tournaments for experience take full advantage. You can play them individually, you don't have to attend every one.
