Good afternoon. I am super excited that you signed up to be part of our next "Friday Night Flights" at Winton Woods on 9/22. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-Tier. We will do a shotgun start at 6p sharp
PLEASE READ - Yes I do copy and paste, but this part is new info for Winton Woods:
For Winton Woods, we will now check in at the shelter which is in the parking lot on the right before the big parking lot. That will be tournament central. For those of you who are starting on holes 2-8 you might want to park in the parking lot with the shelter. The rest may need to drive down or walk down. Afterwards, the top 45% will receive payouts. It's not required to come back to tournament central unless you "cash".
This event is the 4th event of our "Summer/Fall Series". This means we are keeping track of points for the whole series. This will be an 8 week series that will run from 8/25 to the time change with a few weeks being off. Players get 1 point for every divisional opponent they place higher than, and 2 points for participation. Points winners will receive the "Series Cup". Also, since this is a series, if an ACE isn't hit, the ACE fund will carry over to the next week. This week there is a $198 ACE fund carryover.
If you decide to withdraw from the event, you must do so by 3p day of event for a refund.
Cheryl and I will be at tournament central, which will be located across from hole #4 as mentioned above. We will begin check in around 520p. We will have a shotgun start at 6p. I will post hole assignments by around 330p. They will be found at:

As a reminder, at Winton Woods only, we do permit teeing off next to the tee pads that are not playable/safe. No closer to the hole, just right/left.
With doing a shotgun start, make sure you are at your hole by 558p when we will yell "two minutes". Please be aware that the course is not shut down for this event, so be mindful and considerate of casuals who may be on the course. It's important that we all play nice together.

For those in the ACE fund, payouts will be done electronically this year.
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and then a secondary form of scoring per card (PDGA live, Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: winton922
Cards will be made of of primarily 4 players. Depending on numbers, we may have to mix some divisions. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with at least 1 person from their division. Divisions need to have a minimum of 3 players unless otherwise approved by the TD.
All AM divisions will receive AM's Crossover cash immediately following the completion of their divisions rounds. There will be merchandise on hand to exchange in the Crossover Cash. Open players will receive their payouts via PayPal electronically.
It is on each player to know the PDGA rules and guidelines. It is on each card to make sure you are on the appropriate tee. It's easy to go to the wrong hole sometimes, so make sure the card confirms they are on the correct tee pad for each hole.
