About this tournament
The Fairfield County Disc Club (FCDC) Presents the 2024 Cranbury Ice Bowl to benefit the Open Doors of Norwalk, CT! This will be the 23rd time that Cranbury Park has hosted this long-standing, well-attended, and charity-based tournament

Check in will begin at 7:25 am to 8:25am
Shotgun start at 8:45am sharp – Round 1
Round 2 should start 45 minutes (time for lunch) after the last card finishes round 1
Virtual Players Meeting will be conducted via email.

Available spots will then be filled from the waiting list in order of sign up (as determined by the DGS registration system).

AMS – Trophies for 1st place division winners
Layouts:
To be determined based on weather and/or course conditions. All players will be notified of their layout via the players meeting email (to be sent out no later than Friday, February 16, 2024.
NOTE TD reserves the right to change layouts for all divisions based on course conditions, weather, and/or daylight for both the first and/or second rounds. Additionally, if course conditions or weather necessitate it, a combination of layouts maybe used
All professional divisions are $50
All amateur divisions are $40
Amateurs will receive one 2024 Ice Bowl stamped disc from either Innova or MVP, a mini, and a pin!
$2 from each player goes to PDGA for sanctioning
$5 from each player goes towards the Open Door Shelter
$5 from each player will be deducted for Norwalk Parks & Recreation permitting
No TD fees will be taken for this event!
This is a PDGA Competition Endowment Program event and the $10 non-member/non-current fee will be waived.
PDGA Digital Scoring will be in play; instructions on how scoring will work for the event will be sent out to the field prior to the event.
Ace Pot
Ace pot will be in effect. Optional $5 buy-in. If no aces hit, all players in ace pot will throw off for 50% of total. Remaining half will be donated to the Open Door Shelter
CTP prizes to be determined
The “famous Cranbury Potluck Lunch” will be in effect!!! Please bring breakfast, lunch, or dessert!!!
THE NEW ENGLAND FAMOUS LUNCH-TIME THROW-OFF FROM THE MANSION WILL BE HELD!!!! ALL MONEY WILL GET DONATED! PLEASE BRING DISCS, BEER, WINE, LIQUOR, ETC! No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to win alcohol, and will instead be compensated via other merchandise.
Hole Sponsorship: $25.00
For $25 become a hole sponsor! You'll get a nifty copy of your sponsorship sign as well as shout-outs on our social media and at the event. Use the opportunity to advertise your business, or just to broadcast your support for disc golf. You'll also get early access to registration, January 9, 2024, two days before general registration opens on January 11, 2024. (Limited to 18 Tee Signs).
Your generous donation goes directly to the Open Door Shelter of Norwalk.
Refund policy
FCDC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. An unpaid waitlist will be held at Disc Golf Scene, and refunds will be issued in accordance with PDGA guidelines.
