The Fairfield County Disc Club (FCDC) Presents the 2022 Cranbury Ice Bowl!
To benefit the Open Door Shelter of Norwalk, CT
Saturday, 2/26/2022
Cranbury Park
300 Grumman Avenue – Norwalk, CT

Check in will begin at 7:25 am to 8:25am
Shotgun start at 8:45am sharp – Round 1
Round 2 should start 45 minutes (time for lunch) after the last card finishes round 1
Virtual Players Meeting will be conducted via email.

PDGA C-Tier
Two Rounds Stroke Play
72 Players (28 pro and 44 amateur)
Pro spots will be held until 2/1. Available spots will then be filled from the waiting list in order of sign up (as determined by the DGS registration system).
Five spots will be held at the TD's discretion until 2/1 for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering either the day of the tournament, or prior to the tournament via course work, please contact me directly via email for more information.

Layout
All divisions will play standard course (Pink DisCatcher Pro 28 baskets) each round.
NOTE TD reserves the right to change the second round layout for one or more amateur divisions based on course conditions, weather, and/or daylight.
MPO and Age Protected: $50.00
FPO and Women’s Age Protected $40.00
All Amateur Divisions: $40.00
All Amateur Women’s Divisions $35.00
All Juniors Divisions: $30.00
Intermediate, Rec & Women: $35.00
All non-pros will receive a player’s pack.
This is a PDGA Competition Endowment Program event and the $10 non-member/non-current fee will be waived.
$5 from each entry fee will be donated to the Open Door Shelter

PDGA Digital Scoring will be in play; instructions on how scoring will work for the event will be sent out to the field prior to the event.
Ace Pot
Ace pot will be in effect. Optional $5 buy-in. If no aces hit, all players in ace pot will throw off for 50% of total. Remaining half will be donated to the Open Door Shelter
CTP prizes to be determined
There will be no organized potluck lunch at this event. Be prepared to bring your own food. Please note that we are still following Covid-19 Protocols so we will not be having the “famous Cranbury Potluck Lunch.” We are hoping to bring this back in 2023.
HOWEVER ... THE FAMOUS LUNCH-TIME THROW-OFF FROM THE MANSION WILL BE HELD!!!! ALL MONEY WILL GET DONATED! PLEASE BRING DISCS, BEER, WINE, LIQUOR, ETC! No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to win alcohol, and will instead be compensated via other merchandise.
Hole Sponsorship: $25.00
For $25 become a hole sponsor! You'll get a nifty copy of your sponsorship sign as well as shout-outs on our social media and at the event. Use the opportunity to advertise your business, or just to broadcast your support for disc golf. You'll also get early access to registration, January 4, 2022, two days before general registration opens. (Limited to 18 Tee Signs).
Your generous donation goes directly to the Open Door Shelter of Norwalk.
COVID-19:
We are not out of the woods on this yet and with the Omicron Variant spreading we will take the following precautions: Please form a line at the registration table. Only one person will be taken care of at a time and if there are more than 5 people on-line, please wait to come up to the table. Please maintain 6 feet of distancing throughout the event. If you have symptoms of COVID or have been around someone with COVID please stay home (Stop the Spread).

FCDC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. An unpaid waitlist will be held at Disc Golf Scene, and refunds will be issued in accordance with PDGA guidelines.
