Information on the Series Finale
As stated throughout the series, your finish in the series points race will be used to seed you for the final nine, and substantial points leads can lead to stroke advantages for the final nine. Here's how it works:
In each division, the top four players in each division (or less, if there are less registered) will advance and play a final nine holes against each other. In the event that there is a tie in seeding the top four, the tie will be broken by 1) the number of events attended, 2) wins, 3) second place finishes, etc. In the results of the final nine, your seed will serve as a tiebreaker. If the first seed and third seed (or second or fourth) tie in the final nine, the first seed wins on tiebreakers.
In the event that there is a substantial gap in points between two seeds (seven points), a bonus stroke may be awarded to the players above the gap. No more than two bonus strokes will be awarded per division, and no bonus strokes may be awarded at all, if the division is tightly grouped.
Everyone making the final nine will receive a payout, and the prize split between divisions will be based upon the number of players registered for the series in that division. IF YOU DO NOT PLAY IN THE FINAL NINE, YOU WILL NOT CASH FOR YOUR SERIES RESULT.
