This is our August 2023 Second Saturday Singles. This is a stroke play tournament. Two rounds of 18 holes will be played in a singles format. For this month we are hosting an MVP 3 disc challenge.
Players will select the three discs provided by MVP for the challenge. This will include a putter, a mid-range and a fairway/distance driver. All discs will be from the MVP / Axiom / Streamline family. These discs from the player pack will be the only discs to be used during the challenge.
Your entry fee breaks down as follows:
$5 - greens fee, waived for season pass holders
$30 - players pack for three MVP discs used for the event
$10 - CTPs, Ring of Fire, Big Putt prizes
There is no cash prize pool for this event.
NOTE: If you have participated in a previous 2023 MVP 3 disc challenge, you are welcome to participate in this one. You are welcome to bring your discs from the previous challenge. There will be a separate division for players who have played in a previous 2023 MVP 3 disc challenge.
If you are bringing discs from a previous 2023 3 disc challenge, please select the discount option during registration.
Payout places and payout amounts will be determined the day of the event based on number of players. At a minimum, players 1-5 on the leader board will win a disc. Additional payout spots will be dictated by the size of the field.
Ties will be determined by a CTP on hole 8.
Rounds one and two will feature an all-player CTP on hole 8 and round two will feature card CTPs.
Rounds one and two will include an all-player Big Putt on hole 4.
One Ring of Fire is included in the buy-in. Additional optional Ring of Fire buy-ins available for $5/each.
Players may opt-into an ace pool day-of for $5. If there is no ace, we will split it via a CTP on hole 8 after round 2.
