About this tournament

This event will be held at Tower Ridge in Simsbury on Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21. This is a PDGA Sanctioned B-Tier. As it is an Amateur Championship, it will only be open to amateur divisions.

Please note that with the new PDGA rule changes, you must be a current PDGA member in order to compete in any event that is a B-Tier or higher.

Tee Times
We will play 2 rounds of 18, 1 round per day, with tee times. Tee times for Round 1 will be posted Thursday night around 9 PM. We cannot post any earlier due to when online registration closes. All tee times should fall between 9 AM and 1 PM. Divisions will tee in the following order: FA3, MA60, MA3, FA2, MA50, MA2, FA1, MA40, MA1

Layouts
Tower Ridge currently has 3 sets of tee pads labeled Red, White and Blue. We will be using 4 layouts comprising those teepads over the course of the weekend. This chart (https://tinyurl.com/CTAMLayouts) tells you which teepad you will be playing from for each hole on the course for that particular layout. We will be updating that document with distances later this week. PLEASE NOTE: We will be going out on the course on Thursday to very clearly mark all tee pads to avoid confusion.

Divisions will play the following layouts:

Saturday
FA3, MA60, MA3 - CT AM’S RED
FA2, MA50, MA2 - CT AM’S HYBRID
FA1, MA40, MA1 - CT AM’S WHITE

Sunday
FA3, MA60, MA3 - CT AM’S HYBRID
FA2, MA50, MA2 - CT AM’S WHITE
FA1, MA40, MA1 - CT AM’S BLUE

We have set the cost at $75 for all divisions. If you would like to sponsor the event and have the opportunity to register early, we are offering up to 56 non-refundable $25 Event Sponsorships.

Registration opens for sponsors on Monday 5/23 @ 8 PM. Female divisions and general registration will follow on Monday 5/30 @ 6 PM and 8 PM, respectively.

Refund policy

CTP Events is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

Refunds per PDGA policy (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103) based on a player field of 100. Sponsorship money is non-refundable.

Anyone on the waitlist when online registration closes 8/18/22 @ 8 PM will automatically be refunded.
