Lots of Come-See-Me events going on at the lake today. The lake area is still open. I’d recommend parking at the coliseum and follow the walking path to start at hole 6 by the baseball field. Hops at the park lasts until 6PM right behind hole 4 tee. Perfect for a post practice round beer!

Looks like the rain is moving out today and the weekend is going to bring in some good weather. If you want to get a practice round in just know there may be other events going on at Winthrop as a part of Come-See-Me. It should only effect parking and not actual play. That being said we will be using the dock tee on Hole 10 (old 18) and there will not be an island on 9 (old 17). Please let me know if you have any questions and look out for a player email by the end of today.

If it was me for practice rounds I would park in the parking lot near NEW hole 1 at old golf course parking, but you can in the shack parking if you want.

Curious, Was any thought given to coordinating with Winthrop/Innova to keeping both college courses up for the week and increasing the field of competitors? Might have been a missed opportunity.

This is the first year for this tournament and believe it or not it is much harder than people think to coordinate between the Come-See-Me board, city, Winthrop, and Innova and get everyone on the same page. Jeromy and I will finish putting the Lake Front course back together this afternoon so it should be ready to be played this evening. If you are local and want to get a practice round in, The Rock Hill Disc Golf Club will be playing their weekly round on the Come-See-Me Layout (minor differences to Lake Front) tonight. Check in before 5:50 and rounds must start by 6:00. They will meet at the shack parking lot. The round is free with a 1 dollar ace and 1 dollar CTP optional buy in. Come join the club for a practice round.

We will be sending out a tournament email later in the week, but I wanted to give you a heads up that we will be doing early check-in on Saturday from 4:00-6:00 at Get Out And Throw (GOAT) Disc golf. Kyle Gunderson at GOAT has offered 10% off all new discs and apparel for those who come to early check-in on Saturday afternoon. We are gonna work hard to get baskets put back tomorrow, but if not you can still play to wear baskets should be by looking at map in the pictures section.

Udisc Layout for Tournament has been updated. That being said the Tournament Layout will not be playable until after College Nationals (April 3-6) is over. We will work Sunday and Monday April 7/8 to get the baskets back in the correct locations. It is definitely a catch 22. The layout is not available is not ideal, but the course will be in great condition! If you have any questions feel free to email me [email redacted]

No at this time we will only be offering MA40, MA50, and MA60 as our age protected divisions on the MA side.

Hello. Is this a sanctioned event?
Does it matter where we park for our practice round? Is it preferable to park in the bigger lot by hole 1, or can we park in the gravel lot at the Shack?
