looking forward to playing a course at Elliston Park, I have always that that would be a great location, perhaps seeing a permanent installation there soon??

So we are playing 3 courses this year?! Damn this is going to be a very interesting tournament. Is the Elliston course where they have the fire works event at?
It's going to be awesome! Elliston is indeed where they fireworks event is at. We are working away at a design and are excited for everyone to experience it!

I’m so excited about the course choices this year, DRM is one of my faves and, living in Airdrie, all the courses are much closer! Very intrigued about this temp course at Elliston too. Absolutely can’t wait for this tourney, you guys always put on such a fantastic event that really brings the community together!!
Thanks, Chelsea! We're stoked for everyone to get to play DRM in a tourney. Super grateful for the City helping us make this happen.

Hello looking forward to the tournament this year! What do the early registration times "worlds most comfortable pants" and "Cold Garden Gnomie" mean, and who is eligible for those sign up times?
Hi, Cameron! The early registration times are for people who want to guarantee their spot in the tournament without waiting for open registration. There is an extra cost (similar to how some tourneys do hole sponsorship) and a limited number of early registrations. If you register during the "Worlds Most Comfortable Pants" window, you'll get a pair of DU/ER pants along with your registration!
Hello Aubrey. Any information on how much extra the Du/er early bird registration will be? Also, to get these pants you must play in a pro division? No du/er pants for amateurs? Thank you
The DU/ER early registration will be an extra $60 and is open to everyone, pros and ams.

Looking forward to playing a tournament round at DRM again. Thanks for the time and effort getting this event together!

I am hoping the venue change is in error, as I consider WJH and Lloyd to be two of the best courses in the immediate Calgary area
Wondered if the cost had something to do with it. Can understand why that would be a concern. I assume that might also be true with WJ since it is private. Oh well.
Taylor, I kind of figured that may have had something to do with it. Looking forward to playing DRM, I hear it is the "Lloyd of the North"

Any and all information/communications about this event would be fantastic for out of towners hoping to attend. I already booked a hotel based on playing at Lloyd Park and WJ Homestead and now everything on this event posting has changed. Please update with current information.
Hey Brandin, sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully this is far enough in advance you won't be penalized. We are working with the City of Calgary this year with there parks department and event department. Something of this scale takes longer to process with the city, hence the lag on details. Thanks Brandin
Thank you, I appreciate the response. Looking forward to my first Limber Open!

I’m confused, previous comments said playing at Lloyd and WJ, now tournament info says Currie and David Richardson?
Yeah. That is a little disappointing. Currie and DRM would be a huge step down.
Also can’t see being able to have beer garden or a concert at either of those locations.
Sorry you guys feel that way. This is what it looks like this year. There will be a Cold Garden Beer Garden at Currie. Thanks.

Yes, I already confirmed that with Taylor

Last years poster is up with last years dates. Is 2024 going to be played at both WJ Homestead and Lloyd Park this year?
It would be interesting, as long as it doesn't interfere with the fire work festival.
