Thanks for signing up to play the Clay West Flex StartSponsored by Rapid Rivers Disc Golf! We are, once again, going to be dealing with inclement weather. So make sure you’re prepared for the rain and mud. Thanks to all of our sponsors, including RRDG, which threw in $100 for the pros and a Dynamic Discs Paratrooper bag that will be an all-amateur CTP on Hole 16! A shout out also to anyone that’s helped clean up at Clay this spring.

Here’s what you need to know for tomorrow:

I’ll be setting up HQ by Hole 1. Please plan to arrive half an hour before your tee time so you can get checked in, pick up your players pack disc (ams) and grab a CNYDGA club pack if you got in on the first order. I’ll also be taking ace pool money if you haven’t signed up already (a 1 gets you $500+!).

One player on each card will need to keep live scoring on PDGA. To access live scoring for the event, go to pdga.com/score and enter the code ‘westflex.’ It is highly recommended that another player on the card keep a backup score, be it physical or on UDisc.

COURSE OB:

Holes 1-7: No OB
Hole 8: OB tennis court, baseball field. Both play standard.
Hole 9: OB tennis court. All OB drives proceed to the flagged dropzone with a one-stroke penalty. All secondary shots that go OB play standard.
Hole 10: All OB drives proceed to the flagged drop zone with a one-stroke penalty. All secondary shots that go OB play standard. The new DZ is located deep right of the basket. 
Hole 11: OB road, parking lot. Both play standard.
Hole 12: OB road, baseball field. Both play standard.
Hole 13: OB baseball field. Standard.
Holes 14-16: No OB.
Hole 17: OB parking lots, road. All play standard.
Hole 18: OB parking lot, road. Both play standard.

All amateur divisions are trophy only. Winners of multi-player divisions will receive personally inscribed wooden discs made by our own Ryan Appleton, as will second- and third-place finishers in divisions of 10-plus players.
