My son and I are coming up from NY for the tournament and generally prefer tent camping. A brief search mostly turned up RV parks in the area. Any locals have suggestions for tent camping? Is there primitive camping allowed in any of the surrounding conservation areas?

Why is the cap for women 4 spots? Any way this cap could be lifted whIle there's still 2 spots available.for the field?

Just a reminder to players hoping to get in the field for this event: preregistration re-opens this evening at 6 pm! The expanded field means that there are still spots available in nearly every division, but they won't last long

In response to a question I have heard people asking regarding this year's Spring Fling event: What food will be provided during the event?
Players will be travelling from course to course on Saturday and are encouraged to bring lunch and snacks with them, or pick something up while on the road travelling to their second round. There will be some snacks provided for free on the Saturday at tournament central (granola bars, fruit, bottled water), as well as some concessions for sale.

Curious, why are there more spots reserved for intermediate over advanced? Should that not be the other way around?
Hi Dave thanks for your question - historically (last 2 years since I've been running the event anyways) the demand for MA2 was highest of all the divisions. Also, I think that was how the numbers worked out in order to balance the two flights (MA1 is part of the "A" Flight along with the pros). If some of the other divisions don't fill (eg. MPG) another MA1 card could be added.
Thanks for the timely response! Hopefully one day the demand will shift to Pro and Advanced! Cheers
It looks like it's going that way for sure Dave. Food for thought when laying out next year's divisions!
