About this tournament

The Indianapolis Disc Golf Club in partnership with the Circle City Acers is proud to announce the 26th Annual Checkered Flag Open. The CFO is the oldest tournament in Indianapolis, run by Indiana Disc Golf Hall of Fame member Jerry Suiter since 1989. Jerry was the TD for the PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships in Indianapolis in 1992, the only year since 1989 that the CFO hasn't been run.
The event will be held this year once again at Brookside Park with 7 additional temp holes added and a maximum field of 100 competitors. Unlike the past few years, this is a one-day event only, with Ams and Pros playing at the same time via a shotgun start.
We're expecting to get somewhere close to $1000 added cash for this PDGA B-Tier with great players packs for the Ams as well. Lunch will be provided for all! Sign up and spread the word!
