About this tournament

CDGA is pleased to announce that the 2025 iteration of the Chautauqua Open will be once again held at Soaring Acres in the rolling hills of Kennedy, NY. Last year was our first year hosting the tournament at this location and the feedback from the players was clear: everyone wanted to return! Thanks to the generosity of the course owner, Dan Davison, we have been able to make this happen. If you see him the day of, make sure to thank him for preparing his beautiful course for our use.
The tournament will consist of two 18-hole rounds, with a shotgun style start.
There will be a lunch break between rounds. The break begins when the last card finalizes their scores and will be 1 hour in duration.
Lunch will NOT be included in the registration cost of the tournament; however, there are multiple options within 10 minutes of the course.
This year's AMs will receive a player's pack valuing $15. Each player will pick 1 pair of custom print disc golf themed socks and 1 key chain. A variety of patterns / designs will be available to choose from when you check in. Arrive early for the best selection.
Get ready for a great day of golf with good people and picturesque views. CTP awards for each division along with bountiful ace opportunities.
Pro payouts will be made via PayPal and AM payouts will be merchandise vouchers for our local shop, Hallux Disc golf. Hallux will be set up after the tournament so players can redeem their prize vouchers. Players who have not won a voucher but are interested in supporting Hallux are also free to shop the inventory.
Tee assignments will be:
MPO: Blue- Blue
FPO, MP50, MA1, and MA40: Blue- White
FA1, MA50, MA2 and MA3: White- White
FA2: White - Red

You are also welcome to come join one of our Monday Night or Friday Night League Rounds prior to the tournament that will be held on May 19th and June 6th Respectively.

Players on the waitlist who do not get in the tournament will receive a full refund.
