Just to confirm, which basket on Scrapyard Hole 7 is MA40 playing? Also, you have us playing Long Tees on Scrapyard Hole 9? I’m game, but feels like that may be incorrect for age protected divisions. Dec 1, 2023
Greg Peterson Dec 6, 2023#9 Scrapyard long tee… only wanna know 1 thing: why?
Bobcat Buckley Dec 6, 2023It’s 220 feet to safety, you also have the ability to go to the drop zone and throw your third shot if you don’t think you can cross.

220 into the trees along the bank? If there were a gap for a lay up shot, that would be fair. It’s either throw into the trees and hope to get lucky or go to drop zone for a bogie. It is what it is but it’s not a good golf hole for masters divisions. And again I ask why. It’s not like the short tee is a gimme.
Greg Archetti Dec 6, 2023especially not for am masters women.
Brian Timm Dec 6, 2023This feels like something that could be corrected in advance. I'd think most masters players would prefer shorts on 9.
Brian Timm Dec 6, 2023Even moreso with weather projections of moderate to heavy rain and 15+ mph sustained winds.
Bobcat Buckley Dec 6, 2023Kyle is the TD for Scrapyard, we have discussed it in the group chat, but I’ll bring it up again.
Devin Grady Dec 6, 2023We will be switching hole 9 to the short tee

From PDGA site: The X can also be used for other non-ratings related items such as a charity event with limited payouts or a restriction on who can register such as residents of a specific country or state, or collegiate-only. These types of X-Tiers, where the format is ratable, will still receive ratings.
