About this tournament

Registration for this event will start on September 9th at 7pm (EST). Field is to be set at 124 players and all divisions have caps/limits. Schedule of events is subject to change times etc. The tournament staff Will post and email all or any changes to registered players.

This year the Classic will be held back at Trophy Lakes on Johns Island, SC. Trophy Lakes has always been an integral part of the Classic. The Classic as far as I know was started back in 1998 and across multiple courses here in The Low Country. This year we will use two OG layouts which are the long Whites and Blues. The staff is creating a hole 4 Blue pad being a par 3. Hole 8 Blue will be to the long basket. Hole 18 Blue will be cleared and the long Tee Pad will be utilized. There will be A Food truck each day on site during play.

Layouts to be updated on U Disc for this Tournament will be Tournament Blues and Tournament White Tees.
Camping will be available at Trophy Lakes and it’s affordable. https://www.trophylakesports.com Be patient for TL to add a link for camping but trust me it’s worth it.
This is the Event to camp. Friday night movie, Saturday night Ryan Godbout is hosting a Oyster roast (with chili) and Mark Jackson is playing live for your entertainment. www.markJackson.com

This will be a True Amateur Event per the PDGA tour standards. The true spirit of organized amateur athletics is competing in a sport purely for the love of that sport and the act of competition itself.
The goal of a PDGA True Amateur Event is to provide a great holistic tournament experience to each player as they enjoy the spirit of amateur competition in the sport they love.

This will be a three day three round event with finals for the MPO division. If possible we will have finals for the MA1 division as well, (TBA). The Classic will run on tee times starting at 8 am to 1:30 pm in the afternoon. This allows the players the opportunity to get out and explore Charleston.
