About this tournament
Welcome to the ChainLink Conservation Series - Kelso Junior! We are excited to be offering a recreational disc golf tournament open to all junior players on Saturday, September 21 at Kelso Conservation Area. Participants will play 3 rounds of the Alexander House Trio layout - a fun 3 hole loop specifically designed for juniors - for a total of 9 holes!
No skill level is required to participate in this event and a short lesson on how to throw a disc will be available before you play. If you enjoyed disc golf at your Kelso camp experience this summer, this unsanctioned (fun and casual) event is the perfect way to try a disc golf tournament in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
All participants will be given a rental set (mid-range & putter) to be returned at the end of the round. Bring your parents or chaperone to caddy and help you keep score on UDisc. All tournament participants and chaperones will receive free entry to Kelso for the day.
This event will run alongside another official Professional Disc Golf Association-sanctioned tournament, where you'll be able to watch some impressive throws on the longer disc golf layouts available at Kelso.

Registration:
Registration will be open until Thursday, September 19. As part of your registration, you will need to select a division (see below) and a tee time. This will be the approximate time you plan to play your round on Saturday.
Divisions:
Only junior divisions will be offered at this event.
Here is a helpful guide for determining the right division for you:
M - Mixed (male or female competitors)
F - Female
J - Junior
12 - Maximum age of participant in this category (as an example)

Player's Packs:
Once the rounds are complete, player's will return the rental set to the Trailhead Shop and receive a PDGA approved disc, mini and some special merch from Conservation Halton!
