The 2025 Ceral City Safari Player’s Meeting
Thank you for registering for the 2025 Cereal City Safari at Irving Park, made possible by our event supporters Penetrator Events, Great Lakes Disc, and Iron Sharpens Iron DG!
Tournament Central is in the Gazebo near the center of the park. Because this is a modified layout, we HIGHLY suggest using UDisc’s Irving Park 24 Hole Layout as a guide. You can find it under Smart Layouts, and the holes will match perfectly with the PDGA digital scorecard.
This event is using PDGA live scoring. Players can access the digital scorecard by going to pdga.com/score. The access code is CCS25
Hole Notes:
General OBs are in play: Surround by water, on a paved path or sidewalk, on a road, out of the park, the parking lot, on top of a building, and in any of the playgrounds.
Hole 1 – If your disc lands in the playground, do not retrieve it. Notify the TD/crew at Tournament Central and we will retrieve it for you as soon as possible.
Hole 5 – There are two mandatories represented by the trees with orange arrows. If you miss a mando, your next throw will be from your previous lie with a 1 stroke penalty. Rule 804.01 c.
Hole 10 to Hole 11 – After completing hole 10, if you are staring at the basket as if from the tee pad, turn immediately to the right to get to 11’s short tee pad.
Hole 15 – If your disc lands in a backyard, especially by the pin, it is OB. If it lands on the rock hill near the pin, it is in bounds. The OB starts at their lawn. The basketball court/pavement and the playground are OB.
Let's have a great time tomorrow kicking off the Irving Park Course Restoration Project! Thank you to everyone who is able to play or visit, I can't wait to see you!
