Columbus Match Play/Skins Championship - Tier 1
About this tournament
Welcome to the 2024 Columbus Match Play/Skins Championship!
This is the Tier 1 group which is geared towards players with a PDGA rating of 900 and above.
Within the group, we will have 2 separate brackets encompassing the top half of rated players and bottom half. For example, if the median rating is 950, we will have a 16 person bracket for those rated 900-950 and a similar bracket for those rated >950. The final 2 surviving competitors from both brackets will advance to the final round Skins Match.
The first round of the event will start on March 25th and you will have a week (Mon-Sun) to complete each round.
The schedule will be as follows:
Round of 32 - Lobdell Reserve, Alexandria, Ohio (March 25th-March 31st)
Round of 16 - Simsbury DGC, Pickerington, Ohio (April 1st-April 7th
Round of 8 - Alum Creek, Galena, Ohio (April 8th-14th)
Skins Match - Brent Hambrick DGC, Westerville, Ohio (Sunday, April 21st)
Tier 1 will be playing the long tees at all courses.
We will be capping the overall bracket at 32 players and paying out the final four competitors. Once we are down to our final four competitors, those four will compete in an 18 hole skins match where $100/hole will be up for grabs. (Assuming a full field)

Pre-registration is required and all payouts will be processed via PayPal. Brackets will be drawn the day after registration ends and will be posted on the Facebook group.
