Catamount Skins is a fundraising event to support the WCU Club Disc Golf Team.
This is an unsanctioned event. PDGA rules of play apply.
Players complete an 18-hole qualifying round using an alternate/longer course layout on the Catamount Links course at Western Carolina University. Top 4 advance to a 9-hole skins match with a minimum of $50 cash per hole. Ties for top-4 qualification broken by sudden death playoff. "Pushed" skins after 9 holes awarded by sudden death playoff.
"Making Chain Music" Ace Award: Optional ace pool for $5. Ace wins an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II hollow-body electric guitar (used, in excellent condition, with case): minimum $500 value. If multiple aces are hit, the winner will be determined by a 3-shot, ace or CTP playoff. If no aces are hit, WCU Club Disc Golf retains ace pool fees. Ace pool available only during qualifying round, not during skins match.
