I've talked with the events coordinator there and she said the grounds crew's intention is to keep it in better shape this year. With it being such a wet summer last year, they weren't able to get the mowers out in the wet parts as much. Lots of areas are left long no matter what though. Fingers crossed the fairways are in better condition this year.
