About this tournament

The Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club is proud to present the 1st annual Cap City Amateur Open on July 31st - Aug 1st! This amateur only event will take place at Veterans Memorial DGC in Hilliard, OH and at the Marysville DGC at Mill Valley park in Marysville, OH. This PDGA sanctioned B tier event will be 2 rounds, 1 at each course, and will be run by tee times. This event is also part of the brand new Ohio Amateur Disc Golf Tour!

A pool- MA1, FA1, MA2, MA40, MA50
B pool- FA2, FA3, MA3, FA4, MA4, MJ18

MA1 will play longs at both courses. The rest of the divisions will play from the short tees at both courses.

-No day of registration Registration closed July 16th.
-Participants are asked to arrive no earlier than 30min for their tee time. Parking at Marysville is limited so carpool if possible.
-Scoring will be completed via the PDGA Digital Scorecard
-At the conclusion of the round, each card will verify with Tournament Central that the score was correctly submitted before leaving that day.
-At the conclusion of the 2nd round, awards will be given out as that division is completed
-If the merch store is set up, participation in said area will be limited to 2-3 competitors at a time.

Players packs will include an Innova disc with event stamp as well as an event t-shirt.
I’ve also teamed up with Six Sided Discs for some added fun for this event. There will be CTP’s on select holes at the Hilliard course. Each division will have a chance to win a mystery box. We will also have CTPs from Zanfel at the Marysville course for every division.

Payouts will be done at the Hilliard course following the completion of the second round. Competitors playing Marysville on Sunday will need to go to Hilliard for payout, that’s where all the merch will be. We will not be vending! Six Sided Discs will be on-site at the Hilliard location vending if you want to purchase anything. The club merch will be for payout only.

Players meeting: will be sent out via e-mail
Tee times will be posted as soon as I have them.
Tee times starting at 8:00am both days, both courses.
Check in at Tournament central before heading to tee time at each course.

Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
