Anyone who was on the waitlist at the close of registration will not lose their money. If there are drops, waitlisted players who are in attendance will be given first opportunity to get in (still based on waitlist position) once the tournament begins any players who are still on the waitlist will be given a full refund. (Normally players on the waitlist would be refunded as soon as registration closed. But if there were drops before the tournament began, a former waitlisted player would have to re-register and pay DGScene and PayPal fees all over again. This is what we’re trying to avoid.)

Unfortunately, there's no way i can answer this question accurately. If there are confirmed drops before the start of the tournament, players who were on the waitlist will have the first opportunity to fill those vacancies.

If/when you are moved into a spot, an email will be sent to the address you registered with. We have had several players drop today due to illness and fear of poor weather conditions. Refunds for players who do not get in off of the waitlist will be issued shortly after the tournament begins.

I’m not a TD but I don’t think they can make it bigger unless they drop it to one round or spread it out over two days. They have to do a shotgun start to get two rounds in one day so they have to cap it at 72 players per course (18 holes x 4 players per card)
