Thank you Daniel. We hope everyone had a great time. :)

John MacLeod    July 9, 2021 at 11:37pm

Do we have a timeline on when my shirt will be delivered?

Lobo - CC McBurney   July 10, 2021 at 12:30am

Hiya, John. I'll have Cara provide all that information so we can arrange all the missing shirt deliveries as soon as Diameter can get them out the door.

James Duong    July 9, 2021 at 9:38pm

Hi everyone,

I lost a red destroyer between hole 18 and 1. It’s inked up like crazy on the bottom of the disc.

Hi Cara,
Will card times be constant throughout the weekend by division, or will they be switching around at all?
Also, are cards shuffled or reorganized each evening?
Looking forward to a great weekend. Thanks!
Paul

Tee time divisional blocks will be maintained throughout the event. Cara will likely be able to address the round 2/3 shuffles in the Tee Time deliveries tonight.

Cara Hovius   July 8, 2021 at 6:20pm

Great question, Paul. As Lobo mentioned, the windows of time in which each division will tee off will be constant throughout the weekend, but your cards and exact tee times will vary based on your total score following your round each day. This means you may be playing at a different time within your division window each day. Hope this helps!

Discy Chicks Disc Golf store is available for all your disc golf needs, located just 20 mins from the course. If you let me know what you need I can bring it with me to the course if our tee times coincide. Facebook is where all the stock is pictured. You can message Melinda Myall with anything you need. Thanks for supporting local shops while your hear.

It would be great if you could set up a booth. I just assumed there would be local vendors setup. Is this not the case?

Lobo - CC McBurney   July 8, 2021 at 5:39pm

Due to Covid 19 restrictions vendors will not be present at our summer National Satellite events.

Kyle Labine    July 8, 2021 at 3:30am

I’ll be heading to the course tomorrow for about 5:30-5:45 hopefully if anyone wants to join me for a practice round. Bring bug spray everyone!!

I'm heading to the course for the first time tomorrow by myself. Anyone want to meet up for a practice round?

Just saw the email. Thanks to all those organizing!

Cara Hovius   July 8, 2021 at 3:35am

Yes, email has been sent out with course details and directions. Have fun and enjoy your practice rounds everyone!

Daniel Abthorpe   July 8, 2021 at 3:24pm

Just pulled in if anyone is going to be starting soon

Wesley Watt    July 6, 2021 at 4:08pm

Not a question, but a positive comment. Thank you Cara for how quickly you have been responding to everyone’s questions/concerns. Even though the tournament hasn’t started, this is already going above and beyond the expectations. The up to date communication goes a long way!!!! You rock!!!!

Again…. Thank you!!!

I have to agree. Cara has been incredibly responsive to all the questions on here. It's so appreciated

Cara Hovius   July 7, 2021 at 2:54am

Thank you for these incredibly kind words. It’s my great pleasure to answer your questions and make sure everyone has the best tournament experience possible. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday!

Marc-André Comtois    July 5, 2021 at 7:44pm

So I just saw that my division MJ18 is down to two people...I’ve made hotel plans and other stuff for the weekend so I just wanted to make sure that my division doesn’t get cancelled, I would also be into playing MA2 if it becomes an issue

Cara Hovius   July 6, 2021 at 1:59pm

Hello Marc-Andre. Thanks for your question! We will still be running the MJ18 division with two participants, but you will be on a split card with players from another division. Hope this helps. See you on Friday!

Jason Comendador    July 5, 2021 at 2:53pm

Is there a course map with pars and distances? I haven't played the course yet and I can't find any information about the course on udisc. I'd like to get an idea of what the course is like if I can't play a practice round. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Kat! I found it on Udisc.

Cara Hovius   July 5, 2021 at 6:48pm

Hi Jason. Yes, as others have mentioned, the course map is available on UDisc. A course map will also be provided with the virtual player’s meeting later this week and will also be available through the PDGA Scoring app when you are playing your rounds.

Jason Comendador   July 6, 2021 at 1:44am

Great! Thanks!

Josh Prine    July 4, 2021 at 3:45am

Just had a practice round out there this long weekend and notice a handful of holes had basket locations in shorter positions than usual. Are they going to moved to the older traditional positions. Also had a question about to tee assignments and curious what the reasoning is for MPO playing short tees round one? Course is looking amazing still is the best course in Ontario looking forward to this and appreciate all the hard work that everyone has put into this event.

Cara Hovius   July 4, 2021 at 2:00pm

Hi Josh. Good question. This decision was based on discussions with the full tournament team (Karl, Gabe, Jeff & myself). The baskets will be in the long positions for Day 1 from the shorts, with some of the shorter basket positions currently in place on the course being utilized in play on ... more

I played it a couple weeks ago, first round I brought my cart around, second round I did not. I would suggest using your bag for this course.

Angelica Haggert   July 5, 2021 at 3:05pm

Hey Tanya - I brought my cart yesterday when I played and the cart paths are excellent. It's a bit bumpy but tbh not any worse than Ettyville, etc. I'd rather have my cart than not!

Tonya Temple   July 5, 2021 at 4:01pm

Thanks all. I'll bring my cart in case, also rather have it so I can bring more water. Appreciate everyone's thoughts

Gregory Lang    June 28, 2021 at 8:40pm

I am trying to plan whether to stay at a cottage north of there or commute to toronto. could you please provide the location of Area 51, I mean Project 15. Thanks

Cara Hovius   June 29, 2021 at 12:50pm

The nearest settlement is Youngs Point, which is a great location to reference. Exact directions to the course will be provided in an upcoming email communication to all registered players.

Marc-André Comtois    June 27, 2021 at 10:55pm

Just wondering if the one caddie per the pdga rules will be allowed for this tournament?

Cara Hovius   June 28, 2021 at 1:47pm

Caddies are permitted for this event. We will be following COVID-19 requirements and ask that all players and caddies follow physical distancing and masking recommendations. To limit our gathering sizes, we also ask that only registered players check-in at Tournament Central.

Angelica Haggert    June 27, 2021 at 5:08pm

When will the schedule be out? Accommodating a Friday tee and a work schedule is tricky and the most time ahead possible would be best!

Cara Hovius   June 28, 2021 at 4:08pm

Scheduled tee times will be posted in the week leading up to the event. This allows for specific tournament details to be finalized (including registration) and avoids scheduling adjustments and confusion. I would recommend considering the tournament to be a full day commitment as a round at Project15 is expected to take about 4 hours.

Michael Lewis   July 5, 2021 at 1:50pm

Hey Cara, any clarity on when we can expect to see our tee times on Friday?

Cara Hovius   July 5, 2021 at 4:08pm

Hi Michael. Great question. There will be a tentative schedule posted on Disc Golf Scene this evening, with time blocks for when each division can expect to have scheduled tee times, based on where we currently stand with the registration. Sadly there have been a few cancellations, which has been ... more

Michael Lewis    June 27, 2021 at 2:30pm

Hello Cara! Just wondering about what tees each division is using...I am registered in MA40, I would really like a crack at the long tees at some point during the weekend...will I get a chance in MA40 or would I have to switch divisions?

Cara Hovius   June 28, 2021 at 12:40pm

Hi Michael. Thanks for your question. I haven’t finalized which layouts will be used for each division. Please keep an eye on your email as this information will be provided prior to the tournament.

Michael Lewis   June 28, 2021 at 3:49pm

Thank-you! All the best with preparing the course...

if anyone wants to camp - id be interested in splitting a site! (also going to other courses before or after maybe)

Aaron Dodson   June 27, 2021 at 12:22am

I just booked here as it was the cheapest I could find for camping, I would have split but it is the same price for two. would love to see other discgolfers if your still looking for a spot! (Sorry if this is isn't allowed, I haven't been to this place, know them etc, just wanna see y'all round the campfire! https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/ontario/rod-c-s-land/treed-treasure-campsite

Eric Guité    June 20, 2021 at 10:50pm

I am still holding out hope that the wait list will clear up in the next couple of weeks, but in the event that I am not playing the tournament, would I still be able to come down and maybe volunteer or help out in some capacity?

Cara Hovius   June 21, 2021 at 12:32am

Absolutely! Thank you so much for the offer. We will be reaching out to those who would like to volunteer shortly, so we'll be sure to include you. :)

Angelica Haggert   June 21, 2021 at 12:16pm

@Eric I volunteer you to caddy for me ;)

Andrew Lefler    June 20, 2021 at 10:23pm

Just wondering if the course will be available to play for practice rounds prior to the Thursday? Ideally around one of the next couple of weekends. Thanks, looking forward to the tournament.
