Join us September 21, 2024 for the 1st Morley Field Campfire Classic!
This is a PDGA-Sanctioned XC-Tier Charity Fundraising Tournament. Format is 1 round shotgun start at 7:30 AM. Awards, players pack distribution, and raffle to follow. This is a trophy-only event (no payout for ams), every entry receives one raffle ticket.
Choose your favorite pin position with PICK YOUR PIN! Pick your favorite Ace run or put it in the longs to make it harder for everyone else. First come, first served. Remember, it’s for the children.
100% of proceeds from this event will go to support purchasing equipment for a Disc Golf program at Conejo Camp Sequoia Lake, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Learn more about Conejo Camp Sequoia Lake at www.campsequoialake.info.
We will also be accepting used or unwanted discs at the event to donate to our program. Please bring your used discs to the check-in table. 3 donated discs => 1 raffle ticket
Free or reduced registration fees are available to any player who wishes to participate but is unable to pay. Please reach out directly to us with these requests.
What is this fundraiser for exactly?
100% of proceeds from this event will go to the purchase of equipment and development of a disc golf program at Conejo Camp Sequoia Lake, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Conejo Camp Sequoia Lake is a weeklong summer camp program focused on building leadership skills and character development for kids ages 9 and up. Our program has been 100% volunteer-run for over 45 years. www.campsequoialake.info.
The camp where we run our program is at a YMCA property outside of Sequoia National Park. The property has a fun but challenging 9-hole course but very few of the campers or staff in our group know how to play. The course is underutilized and I want to change that.
This year I brought borrowed equipment and used discs and the program was a huge hit! I provided instruction to all the kids, and used personal funds to give each kid and volunteer a custom stamped putter to take home. I am fundraising to buy permanent equipment and provide more new diss to kids in future years.
