This is the Calumet Lions Park stop on the Keweenaw Disc Golf Tour for 2023. Play will be singles format, stroke play across two rounds. Round one will be holes 10-27 from the shorts. Round two will play 1-16, 26 & 27 from the longs. We will play to whichever basket placements are set up at the time of the tournament. Course will follow a selected 18 hole loop to be announced later.

The event time has changed! We will begin players meeting after bag tags has concluded. This is likely to be between 12:30 and 1:00PM

If you are unable to start the tournament that late, you will be welcome to play your first round during bag tags and your second while the rest of the group plays their first. You would obviously miss awards at the end. Your shorts/longs would be inverted. We can only do this if there are at least two people in this position.

This event is a stop on the 2023 Keweenaw Disc Golf Tour - KDGT. Players will accrue tour points based on their finishing place on the leader board. These points will be tallied at the end of the season following the six tour events. The top 32 players by points standing will be invited to a tour championship held Saturday and Sunday, 30SEP - 01OCT 2023 at Constellation Farmstead.

NOTE: You DO NOT need to have plans to play the other KDGT tour stops to participate in this tournament. This functions as a stand-alone tournament with its own prizes but is also part of a larger series.

Please dress for any weather. Bring a water bottle. Please follow all Calumet Lions Park property policies. Alcohol, cannabis and smoke-producing tobacco products will not be permitted on the course during play. This will not be a controlled course. There may be other players on the course during the event. Please be courteous to them, allowing them to play through if appropriate or politely request to play through them if the situation dictates.

Your entry fee breaks down as follows:
$5 - added cash for KDGT Championship
$5 - greens fee to be donated to the course donations box
$10 - "funny money" for non-cash prizes for payout, CTP
$20 - cash prizes for this tournament.

The breakdown for cash payout is as follows:
5th - 5% cash pool
4th - 5% cash pool
3rd - 10% cash pool
2nd - 30% cash pool
1st - 50% cash pool

Payouts beyond 5th place will be in "funny money" only. Payout amounts and number of payout places will be determined on the day of the tournament and will be based on the number of participants.

Tie breaks for prizes will be decided by a sudden death playoff beginning at hole 1 from the long tees until a winner is decided.

Round one will feature an all-player CTP and round two will feature card CTP.
