About this tournament
The MVP Space Race is back! The Space Race is designed to be a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology.
Players Pack info: https://mvpcircuitevents.com/players-packs-2/
Axiom Glow Crave
Axiom Glow Range - new release!
And a Lab 2nd MVP disc for all players
Format
Two rounds of 18 holes, two throws per hole per player.
Course layout
Holes are generally between 100 and 200 feet (31 to 77 meters). Shorter holes are fine, since more aces hit means more fun, however holes under 70 feet are discouraged.
Rules of play
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. No previously used (aka “seasoned”) discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package.
All players will use UDISC for scoring. Two throws per player. Any ace is listed as a 1. A metal hit from either disc, players will mark a "birdie" with a score of 2. Miss on both shots, players will record a "par" score of 3.
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players continue their scorecards for round two.
The player with the lowest score, and typically the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tiebreaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then held to determine the event winner.
