PLAYER PACK:
All amateur players will receive a player pack of their choosing valued at a minimum of $15. Exact player pack selections will vary event to event and are first come, first served the day of the event. Previous examples of player pack items include discs, shirts, water bottles and whale sacs.
FORMAT/LAYOUT:
This event will consist of a single round with players randomly being grouped together on site. Players from any division may be grouped together on a card. All divisions will play the standard layout for this event. Specific layout notes will be sent out the week leading up to the event.
PARKING:
Please park along the stone wall that outlines the park boundary.
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL:
Tournament central for this event will be next to the kiosk.
CHECK IN:
Players should check in prior to their round to be assigned a group. Check in will open at 7:30 and all players must check in by 12:40 or be considered a no show for the event. This allows us to make sure all players are able to find a card and begin their round no later than 1:00.
TEE TIMES:
For this event, players will not select a tee time at registration. Players may tee anytime between 8 AM and 1 PM. Players should plan on teeing off during that window and will be grouped randomly on site into cards of 3-4 players. Any player who has not checked in with the TD’s by the designated time, will not be allowed to participate in this event.
PLAYERS MEETING:
There will be no on site players meeting for the events in this series. You will receive an email containing all relevant information for each event no later than 24 hours before the event. If you have any questions in regards to any aspect of the event, please make sure to ask the TD’s during check in.
AWARDS/PRIZES:
Division winners will be awarded a trophy after the event. There is no awards ceremony and you do not need to stay after completing your round. Trophies will not be available the day of the event and may be collected at a future event.
All players are automatically entered into a $100 Ace Pot.
There will be at least one CTP that all players will be eligible to win.
As a way to encourage PDGA growth, we will award a PDGA membership to the lowest scoring player at the event that has not previously been registered with the PDGA.
POINT SERIES:
Just a reminder that this event is part of the 2023 Connecticut Flex Series. You automatically earn points towards end of season awards just by participating.
