Do you guys know how the CTP donations will work? I've heard some people are donating CTP prizes, but I'm curious as to how that will add more money to the cause. Will there be a CTP entry fee, for players who want to play for CTPs? If it will raise more money, than I would like to find something to donate as well. Otherwise, it's probably better to just make a monetary donation.

Any cancer SUCKS! It sucks the life right out of you and I guess what is worse than being the one with cancer, is being the ones who have to watch you fight for your life. If everyone can spend one day to help, what an awesome bunch of people you are and if you have saecastic comments to make........ keep them to yourself and pray I you never have to watch someone you love fight this battle that usually doesnt have a great outcome. Or even worse...... fighting it all alone. Karma!!!! The world is a hard enough place lately but when if you can't do something nice for someone else and feel good inside....... well, perhaps that is why the world is the way it is. We cannot control cancer or who gets it but if we cannot be supportive, compassionate and just a human being then what the heck are we here for??? You guys all Rock for doing this!!!!

Jon, we would love to have you. It is for a great cause. It is cheep to play and we only ask a small donation with everyones entry fee. Sure the payout is the same as a normal league payout, but it is not about the money. We did not want to put any financial strain on anyone so they could attend. I will also donate the $2 for non club members and put in $2 for each club member. It is not going to the club. This will be a fun event. I will post the directions on the tournament page. Shall I sign you up? Just let me know your division you would like to play in and your PDGA# or an email. I have played with quite a few guys from Flint. Thanks.

I am from the flint area and I am thinking about coming to your tournament if I would be welcome to. I am a supporter in the fight against breast cancer as my mom is a two time survivor. My mother also organizes fundraisers for the american cancer society and the breast cancer. I am an amatuer player looking to play new courses and have fun while meeting new people and making new friends an impressions. I feel for the person this fundraiser is on for because my family was not fortuante enough to get this type of support thats why we offer it. Club Kensington Resurrection will be having a singles tournament at Ponder Hills to help raise funds for Amy Heeg, Dave Dirmeyers sister in law, for the Susan G. Colman 3-day Breast Cancer Fundraiser.

Cost: $12 (Current paid club members- $10)
$5 goes to the Fundraiser, $5 to payout, $2 for non club members

This will be a two round event. Day and Glow round.

Optional Long Drive Contest per Division, $1.

Optional Ace Pool, $2. Will be paid out day of event as CTP if no ace is hit.

Lunch: The Club will provide a main dish, pop, water, chips. BYOB and any other food you wish to bring.

Well said Matt. This is a great opportunity to do something for one of our own. Dave's sister-in-law has Brest Cancer and will use what money she raises to attend the 3-Day Fundraiser. I believe she needs to raise $2500. What we are doing will not raise the whole amount, but every little bit helps. If anyone has empty cans and bottles and would like to donate them, we can cash those in too. Thanks again.
