CAMP SMASH
About this tournament
There will be 9 qualifiers held throughout the weekend. 1st and 2nd from each qualifier earn their berth to the championship on sunday. If some one does not show on sunday any present 3 rd place winners will have a throw off for the open spot. If no 3rd place it goes down to 4th , 5th , 6th and so on .
Its $5 a qualifier, you can play in as many qualifiers as you want, no limit. All the money from the qualifiers pays out in the championship on Sunday .
Seeding matters. In the final 18 the first 9 people to throw on 1 will be 2nd place finishers or worse. The 1st place finishers will throw after the first 9.
Game play . Everyone throws on the same hole. If there are 9 players in a qualifier all the players play out the that hole together as normal play rules . Whoever has the worst score is eliminated. One player is eliminated every hole no more no less. If there is a tie for the worst the host will place a mini away from the basket at about a jump put away . All the players facing elimination throw off to the basket they just played the furthest away is eliminated. We continue on to the next hole until there is only one player left .
Dont forget to leave your disc in the basket!! If you touch or pull your disc out before all discs are finished you will be automatically eliminated!!!!
Determining order . Once signups for a qualifier are finished and players met at the predetermined starting hole all players draw a number this determines the order . Whoever has 1 will throw 1st , 2nd throws next and so on. When a player is eliminated it continues w the lowest number throwing either their drive or throw off from lowest remaining number to highest .
This is a different style. Heckling is encouraged!!! You cannot interfere w a thrower or his throw or disc. But all forms of loud , silly shenanigans is encouraged!!!
