Bud Hill Masters 2023
Mr Danny, Mrs Barbara and all of Memphis Disc golf are happy to welcome you back to this fantastic weekend in 2023 to celebrate our Masters!! We finally got our A Tier and cant wait to have you all back to Bud Hill.
Bud Hill Masters is a Professional only event and is restricted to age protected pro divisions. You must be turning 40 or older in 2023 to compete.
$150 for all divisions

Trophies for 1st place in all divisions
You must have 3 players to create a division with the exception of the women’s divisions.
Registration will open for hole sponsors on April 1st at 5pm central. 36 spots will be available firs come first served. This is your entry fee plus a $100 sponsorship. It will include a full size hole sign to be displayed on the course. You must provide the artwork.
Open registration for everyone will begin April 8th at 5pm central time. If your division fills we will have a waitlist for each division and will promote by division.
3 rounds of 18 holes at Bud Hill
This will be a tee time event. One round per day at Bud Hill.

PDGA DIGITAL SCORECARD FOR Bud Hill Masters
We will be using digital scorecards for this event. if you would like to review and research this method, please follow this link: https://www.pdga.com/help/tournament-management/official-hole-scoring
The ACCESS CODE for the event scoring is BudHill. It is not case sensitive. To start your round with digital scoring you will need to go to the following link: www.pdga.com/score.
1. You will be prompted to enter the Access Code and press the Submit button.
2. Search for your name. You can search by typing in part of your name or PDGA Number. Once your name appears, you select it and confirm. This person is now the “scorekeeper”.
3. You will be prompted to select the round for which you are currently playing.
4. The scoring screen will load with your name. The default starting hole is hole 1, so be sure to choose the correct starting hole if for some reason hole 1 is not where the group is starting (e.g. shotgun start).
5. Scores for each player will be automatically defaulted to whatever the par is for the hole that is being scored. The player can use the plus or minus buttons to add or remove strokes. When all players have the correct scores, clicking Save & Continue will upload the scores and the page will automatically reload on the hole that follows.
6. The teeing order is indicated by a number presented to the left of each player's name. Players need to make sure they verify all scores with the entire group before showing the TD onsite!
Please make sure you are setting a good example for everyone.
Bud Hill does not allow pets. Please leave them at home.
Primitive camping is available at Bud Hill for a daily fee $5 and can be paid during your registration. This money goes directly to Bud Hill to continue upgrading this beautiful place.
$5 of your entry fee will be given to Bud Hill for use of their course.
Lunch will be available at the food truck at tournament central at Bud Hill all 3 days so please take advantage of this.

Caddy guide
General rules
1. Be respectful of your environment. This is the Daniels home. Treat it better than you treat your own.
2. This is a fun weekend. PDGA rules of competition will apply.
3. Don’t die. It really puts a damper on the weekend.
Course rules and OB
Only hole 14 will change basket location. Sunday only it will be in the long position that has a flag stick in it. You will need to practice without the basket there prior to Sunday. Tee pads will not change except for MP40 on Sunday and they are listed by hole below.
Bud Hill Layout
1. Short tee (long tee for MP40 Sunday only) NO OB
2. Painted and flagged areas are hazards. Play from where it lies with 1 throw penalty.
3. No OB. Be cautious of players on long 4 tee pad.
4. MP40, MP50 play long tee all three rounds. MP60, MP70 and all Women’s divisions play short pad. OB left and right beyond red stakes. The Hazards on hole 2 are not in play on hole 4.
5. NO OB
6. Inside painted/flagged line around pond and over string line on bluff are OB. All tee shots out of bounds go directly to the drop zone with penalty. Any OB after that will play from where last in bounds.
7. Long tee straight basket. Inside painted flagged line is OB. Normal OB rules apply.
8. Short tee (MP40 long tee Sunday only) Beyond fence and painted line is OB. Normal OB rules apply.
9. Island hole. If island is missed proceed to drop zone with penalty. Normal OB rules after tee shot.
10. Middle tee. (MP40 long tee pad sunday only). triple mandatory. If missed go to drop zone. Proceed from drop zone until in play or mandatory is made.
11. OB over bluff beyond basket. Normal OB rules
12. No OB
13. Short tee (MP40 long pad sunday only) OB beyond fence/stakes left, long and right.
14. Short tee OB inside painted flagged line and left beyond red stakes. All OB drives play from drop zone with penalty. Normal OB rules after drive.

Refund policy
2023 PDGA REFUND POLICY in use for this event.
Sponsor level players will receive their sponsor shirt, and the normal entry fee will be refunded per the PDGA policy as follows:
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund (minus up to a $10 handling fee).
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD will provide a 50% cash refund.
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD will provide EITHER a 25% cash refund.
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee.
Sponsor level players will receive their sponsor shirt, and the normal entry fee will be refunded per the PDGA policy as follows:
