About this tournament

The Fairfield County Disc Club presents the 2023 Brewport Open!

Saturday, July 8th - Professional Divisions and MA1 (72 player cap, 36 each)
Sunday, July 9th – All other Amateur Divisions (72 player cap)
Veterans Memorial Park - Bridgeport, CT
FCDC notes that all unfilled pro spots remaining as off June 17, 2023, will be filled as follows: 1) All MA1 players on the waitlist will be promoted to the registration list, 2) All remaining spots will be made available on a first come, first serve basis.


PDGA B-Tier – minimum $750 Added Cash for Professional Divisions

SANCTIONING FEES:
All PDGA event sanctioning fees will be deducted from player entry fees in accordance with PDGA rules and will be posted.

HOLE SPONSORS:
By sponsoring you'll receive early registration as well as the ability to advertise a business of your choosing, please relay the details/logo/desired hole so we can ensure proper signage is displayed. We are accepting $25 hole sponsors (18 total) and unlimited $100 event sponsors.

FORMAT/LAYOUT:
All divisions will be playing the standard 18 hole layout at Veterans Memorial Park. All course rules will be provided in the virtual players meeting email.

PARKING:
Please park alongside Park Avenue to the maximum extent possible.

TOURNAMENT CENTRAL:
Tournament Central for this event will be at Hole 1.

CHECK IN:
Players must check in prior to Round 1 start. Withdraws and Refunds will be in accordance with the PDGA Competition Manual section 1.03

ACE POT:
In the event an ace is not hit all players who paid in will throw CTP shot from the practice tee to Hole 18 basket. CTP takes the pot.

PLAYER’S MEETING:
There will NOT be a player's meeting for this event/ All information will be provided via a virtual player's meeting email to be issued no later than two days prior to the event date.

AWARDS/PRIZES:
All professional divisions will receive cash payouts via Paypal to be provided no later than two business days following the event. Amateur division payouts will be determined based on the value added to the players packs, but will likely include trophies and/or vouchers for merchandise via one or more online vendors.
