Hi! I'm currently registered in MA2. However, there's a chance I "rate out" of MA2 to MA1. Will I still be guaranteed a spot if I surpass the 935 threshold?

Andrew Adkins   May 2, 2022 at 3:36am

Based on my calculations you will probably be a 936. Just over. I'm not sure how they will do it but you will have to play up. Hopefully a MA1 player drops and you could just fill it and it won't affect anything

Kristy Moore   May 2, 2022 at 3:15pm

Yes, you will still have your spot in the event. No one will eve lose their spot in one of our events because their rating went up.

Aidan McSweeney   May 3, 2022 at 5:45pm

Hi Kristy! Thank you very much, I appreciate the timely response! Looking forward to it!

Chad Barner    April 22, 2022 at 3:30pm

When will we know if we are off the waitlist and in the tournament?

Daniel Carsey   April 22, 2022 at 3:50pm

Massive drop outs don't usually happen until a week or two before the event

Bjarmi Mohr   April 22, 2022 at 3:51pm

You should get an email saying you owe an entry fee for the tournament. That's how it is normally.

Hey ladies and gentlemen, please head over and check out our video preview of Lobdell Reserve Disc Golf Course. We have partnered with Six Sided Discs to bring you previews of each course. Check out the first video of Lobdell Reserve at the link below. Videos of both Alum Creek Disc Golf Course and the Brent Hambrick Memorial Course will be released in the upcoming weeks.

I think we need to make sure Greg gets in off the MA40 waitlist.

Are any rounds at Hoover going to be 27 holes?

Kristy Moore   March 26, 2022 at 6:21pm

The round will be 18 holes at all of the courses. There may be some modifications to the Hoover, for instance in the past we have skipped 5 and 6 for A and I. I will have the layout announced soon.

Michael Ghiloni   May 12, 2022 at 3:17pm

Do we have OB and layouts for each course yet?

Kristy Moore   May 12, 2022 at 6:11pm

The caddy guide for Alum is being finished up now and we will have those posted early next week so everyone can get an eye on the layouts.

Travis Hannum    March 15, 2022 at 8:01pm

Just wondering can we have a caddy?

Jesse Diller   March 15, 2022 at 8:52pm

I wouldn't know why not; the more the merrier, I'd say. Read the PDGA Rules section on caddies, though; you're responsible for them. https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/305

Kristy Moore   March 15, 2022 at 10:09pm

Yep, caddies are allowed. We do ask that you carpool if possible as parking can be tight at a couple of the courses.

Travis Hannum   March 17, 2022 at 1:55am

Sure thing

Mike Now    March 11, 2022 at 4:53pm

Kristy I need to drop out and can’t figure out how. Is there a link I’m missing? Realized I’m going to be in Colorado.

Can you move me to ma50? I m on the waitlist for rec and am worried I won't get in. Thank you.

Kristy Moore   March 3, 2022 at 5:58pm

Done!

David Gibson    February 26, 2022 at 12:35pm

I paid but am 7th on the waitlist ma3. Does that mean ill get in?

Kristy Moore   February 28, 2022 at 4:59am

Basically it looks like there was an error, so many people signing up at once and it charged the first few people on the waitlist. You are not guaranteed to get in, but if you do you will be paid and ready to go. If you do not get it you will get a full refund, minus the dgscene fees. If you have any questions or if this is an issue just shoot me a PM and we will get you squared away.

Reece Lemanski    February 26, 2022 at 1:32am

I was put on the waitlist and didn’t have to pay will I receive an email if I get moved in about payment

Messaged again. Fingers crossed

Kristy Moore   February 26, 2022 at 1:35am

Got it and added you. PM'd you back.

Kristy can you move me to ma 40

Corey Kelley    February 26, 2022 at 1:10am

Umm... did I just pay and still get wait listed?? I clicked right at 8.

Kristy Moore   February 26, 2022 at 1:48am

Hey there, it happened to several people. I think it was because of the timing and so many people signing up at once. If you were early enough to get charged, you will most likely get in. If you do get in you will be good to go, if you do not we will send the refund. Shoot me a PM if there are any questions or issues and I'll get you squared away.

Kristy Moore    February 4, 2022 at 4:23am

Hey, just so there is no confusion, early sponsor registration is $50 on top of the entry fee and will begin tomorrow night at 8:00 PM. There are many other levels of sponsorship opportunities available as well. If you are interested in a larger sponsorship and playing, please register as a sponsor tomorrow and we can include that in any level of sponsorship.

Will there be early access registration for Flyers members for this? Or is that for hole sponsors only?

Kristy Moore   February 2, 2022 at 3:13pm

Early registration only applies to sponsors for this event. Like the club discount for events, the early member registration does not apply.

Jason Stewart   February 4, 2022 at 3:33am

Thanks for the info!

Kyle Gibbs    February 1, 2022 at 12:50pm

What's the cost to sponsor a hole?

Brian Schick   February 1, 2022 at 1:47pm

Hi Kyle. Hole sponsorships begin at $200. I can send me details via email if interested.

Brian Schick   February 1, 2022 at 1:48pm

“More” details.

Derek Bricker    January 25, 2022 at 4:24pm

Will you be offering full color discs for sale? Seems like a good opportunity, especially since its the silver anniversary of the tourney.

Kristy Moore   February 5, 2022 at 12:17am

Artwork and logos are being worked on. We will have fundraising discs available but the manufacturers will dictate what we can get at this time. We will have those details out as soon as possible.

James Mummert    January 25, 2022 at 12:40am

How many sponsorship spots will there be anticipated? Thank you

Kristy Moore   January 25, 2022 at 12:52am

It will vary by division. It will be right around 1/3 of each division.

Alex Hoy    January 23, 2022 at 8:19pm

FOUR rounds of golf at THREE courses?? With only 1/4 of the Hambrick tournament played at the Hambrick course too. Curious to see how the logistics of this are going to work.

Kristy Moore   January 23, 2022 at 8:31pm

Everyone will play two different courses on Saturday, then the same course twice on Sunday. We are really hoping to keep expanding this event into on of the largest AM events in the area.
