The Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club would like to welcome you to the 25th Annual Brent Hambrick Memorial. This email should contain everything you need to get through the weekend without issues.

First off, please remember to check in Saturday morning before you proceed to your starting hole. You will check-in at your assigned starting course. All player's packs will be given out at the Brent Hambrick Memorial Course before you play your round there. All payouts and awards will also take place at the Brent Hambrick Memorial DGC.

Course Specifics:

Brent Hambrick Memorial DGC
1. All roads and parking lots are OB.
3. Please do not park in the grass.
4. Please carpool if possible.


Lobdell Reserve DGC
1. Please do not park along Battee Road outside of the parking lot. Please pull in head first or back in, do not park parallel to the fence or treeline.
2. If the parking lot is full please head to tournament central and coordinate a shuttle from the overflow parking lot.
3. Please carpool if possible.
4. Due to the holiday weekend, the services located in Alexandria, gas, food, etc will be limited or unavailable so please plan accordingly.


Alum Creek State Park DGC
1. Please use the parking areas down the road that runs along hole 17 before parking in boat parking. If you do park in the boat parking, please consider doubling up with a friend to help conserve parking. With the holiday weekend, there are sure to be plenty of boats and trailers in the parking lot. Please be respectful and remember this is a shared space.
2. All roads and parking lots are OB.
3. There are no mandos on the course.
4. On hole 6 be aware that there is a beehive/nest in one of the trees in the middle of the fairway. This primarily affects the red tee pad but can come into play if your drive is short and left from the other two tees. I will be reaching out to the park to see if there is a solution that will allow us to play the hole without any changes.

We will be using PDGA online scoring for this event. Paper scorecards will also be given out to each group as a backup scoring method. Please verify that your group has submitted their score before leaving. Any scorecards not submitted within 30 minutes of the end of the round will incur a two-stroke penalty.

Please be aware that there is a hornet nest or beehive in one of the larger trees in the middle of the fairway for hole 6. It primarily affects those playing the red tee, but a shorter drive off to the left from the blue and gold tee could also land near the tree. Please play with caution, we will assess it tomorrow.

MA1 - Long Tees
All Other Divisions - Short Tees

Alum:
MA1 - Longest Tees
MA40, MA2 - Long/Middle Tees (Middle tees if available, long tees where there are only two tees.)
All Other Divisions - Shortest Tees

Just a reminder that we are following the PDGA refund policy for this event. May 14th, 2022 will be the last day you will be guaranteed a 100% refund. After that, you will only receive a full refund if your spot in the event is taken from someone on the waitlist. If you are unable to attend please let us know asap. If your spot is not filled from the waitlist you will receive a player's pack or a 25% refund.

If you were recently promoted from the waitlist, please update and pay your registration as soon as possible. We will give everyone that hasn't paid 48 hours to do so and we will move on to the next people on the waitlist.
