About this tournament

The Bowen Looper Presented by Okanagan Disc Supply is a one-day two-rounds PDGA-Sanctioned C-Tier event!
The event will be played on a modified 9-hole layout (each round consists of two full laps) at Bowen Park. There will be a short lunch break between both rounds, so Round 2 shotgun start will be determined day of after Round 1 is completed.
Maximum field: 36 participants.
Early registration for Women's and Junior divisions on Friday April 28th at 7pm.
General registration open for all divisions Sunday April 30 at 7pm.
The purpose of this event is to provide our community with an opportunity to participate in some inclusive and fun tournament play, whilst also providing PDGA-sanctioned play, allowing folks an opportunity to get some rated rounds in.
Fee Structure:
$2 - PDGA Player Fee
$3 - Pro Payout/Ams Players Pack (snack valued at $3 or more)
$1 - NDGC
Optional: $2 Ace pool. If no aces are thrown during the rounds, there will be a CTP after the tournament rounds are complete.
PDGA:
If you would like to get rated at this event, you will need to be a current PDGA member. Non-current PDGA members may participate and pay a $10 PDGA non-member fee to play, but their rating will not be calculated until they join the PDGA. The $10 PDGA non-member fee does not apply for participants in the Junior divisions.
Example 1: John is a current 2023 PDGA member and wants to play to get their rating updated. John pays $6.00 entry fee to play in the Bowen Looper and gets rated rounds.
Example 2: Mary is not a current 2023 PDGA member but wants to participate. Mary pays $6.00 entry fee + $10.00 one-day PDGA fee, for a total cost of $16.00, to play in the Bowen Looper. Mary will not get rated rounds until they become a current PDGA member.

Refund policy
NDGC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Tournament withdrawals AFTER Wednesday May 3 at 7:00pm will not be issued a refund. Refunds prior to this will be allowed less applicable fees.
