About this tournament

Birdies for Bob really started in 2017 when my dad Bob was diagnosed with ALS. Over the last five years I’ve seen how ALS affected Bob and my family, but I also saw how much the ALS Association helped us navigate through that time, so i wanted to do something to give back while honoring Bob, who we lost back in April. Thankfully Bob got to experience the love from our disc golf community at last year’s first ever Birdies For Bob, which helped raise over $10,000. Our event has live music, food, drinks, silent auction, a cornhole tournament and a long drive competition! And the staple of Birdies for Bob, the dunk tank. It’s our own rocky mountain version of the ice bucket challenge! My goal is to assist The ALS Association, even if it’s just a little bit, in making ALS a liveable and curable disease.

This year's Birdies for Bob 2 will be at the legendary Bear Mountain in Bailey, Colorado. After round one on Saturday, enjoy games, food, drinks and music into the night! Sunday late morning 2nd round, stick around for an epic awards ceremony!
