Birdie or Die - Best Shot @ Jacobson
About this tournament
Welcome!
The Birdie or Die Doubles series is 5 one-round unsanctioned doubles events at central Kentucky courses throughout the year.
There are 4 divisions offered for this event:
Pro
Advanced
Rec
Mixed Couples
Some divisions will have a maximum combined PDGA rating for the two team members. If you do not have a PDGA rating, your assumed rating is 850.
Pro - no rating requirements
Advanced - combined rating of 1870 or below
Rec - combined rating of 1750 or below
Mixed - no player over 935
Division Entry Fees
Pro - $30 per team
Advanced - $20 per team
Rec - $20 per team
Mixed - $20 per team
ALL DIVISIONS RECEIVE CASH PAYOUT!
Top 33% (including ties) will receive a cash payout via PayPal. $3 from each teams' entry fee will be donated to the BDGA's basket and tee pad funds. $2 dollars goes to a CTP and $2 to the ace pool. Ace pool is all divisions. CTP is by Division. All Birdie or Die events have separate payout for each event.
Optional: Lexington Doubles Champion. During the first and second event, teams can pay to play for the title of Lexington Doubles Champion. Buy-in is $10 dollars. There will be two Division Pro (which combines Pro and Advanced) and Am (which combines Rec and Mixed). To Qualify you must play in 3 of the 4 doubles events (last event is a team doubles). If you play in all four, we will drop your worst score. Total Score wins. Winner take all. Must keep the same partner throughout. Good Luck!
Teams are able to choose their own tee time. All cards must have 2 teams when playing, so it is possible for tee times to be moved around (you will be notified if this affects you).
Please reach out to Christopher McCurry with any questions or concerns regarding this event or future Birdie or Die Doubles events.
