About this tournament
1 round of play
This will be the first annual Big Red's Collegiate Qualifier in Bowling Green, KY, hosted by the WKU Disc Golf Club! The top 2 teams will receive bids to the College Disc Golf National Championship. The first 40 registered competitors will receive a players' pack and all will compete in 3 rounds of 18 holes. We will award trophies for the top men's & women's teams (1 trophy/team) and the men's & women's singles champion. All three courses will be open for practice the week of the event. Please note the Vette City course is a pay to play. Pre registration only. This event will use PDGA live scoring. We will send out a virtual players meeting/guide the week of the event.
Schedule:
Friday (11/12): Early check in and players' pack pick up at Disc Crazy Bowling Green. 3pm-6pm
Saturday (11/13): Round 1- Team Doubles at The Vette City Disc Golf Course long layout (Hobson Grove Golf Course). Tee at 9am
Women's teams will play traditional doubles
1 hour lunch break after last card turned in. We will be providing lunch!
Round 2: Singles at the Hobson Grove Disc Golf Course
Players Party and players pack pick up at Disc Crazy Bowling Green 5-8pm
*Sunday (11/14): Round 3- Team Doubles at Keriakes Park Disc Golf Course (longs). Tee at 9am
Women's teams will play traditional doubles*
Awards will follow
Sam from UK will be hosting $5 random draw doubles at Lovers Lane Park after awards!
Players are required to be members of College Disc Golf to compete in CDG events for the 2021-2022 Season. Players can sign up on collegediscgolf.com and find more information there.
Entry Fees: $150/ men's team (4 players), $75/ women's team (2 players)
PDGA memberships required
Gold Hole Sponsorship: $100 -- sponsor chooses hole, name/logo on large sign
Silver Hole Sponsorship: $50 -- sponsor chooses hole, name/logo on small sign
Bronze Hole Sponsorship: $25 -- hole selected by staff, name/logo on small sign
