ABOUT
Back by popular demand. It's time again for disc golf on the fairways at Black Squirrel Golf Course. This is a PDGA C-Tier singles event. We will use the "red course" layout from the 2023 Black Squirrel Open. This is a temporary course utilizing portable baskets for both rounds.

* Big Bang Boom is not replacing the Black Squirrel Open. The BSO will take place on Saturday, October 5th utilizing two 18-hole courses.

PRACTICE ROUNDS
The temporary disc golf course will be available for practice rounds on Tuesday, July 2nd and Wednesday, July 3rd. Greens fees for all practice rounds is $15. When available, players may also reserve a golf cart for their round (+$22).

Greens fees WILL NOT be taken from tournament entry fees on July 4th.

FOOD TRUCKS AT LUNCH
The lunch break between rounds will be 60 minutes. Food trucks will be on hand for players to purchase lunch or they may bring their own.

FIREWORKS
There will be a free large scale fireworks display at the golf course later that evening. You are invited to stay and enjoy the show.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
No cashless registration. All players must pre-register before 8 p.m EDT on the day before the event, July 3, 2024.

DIVISIONS
The tournament director reserves the right to combine divisions of less than three players. The TD will also open a requested division with a minimum of three players.

PLAYER PACKAGES FROM DYNAMIC DISCS AND LATITUDE 64
All amateur players will receive a player package at check in. Pack will include a Latitude 64 disc AND choice of a Dynamic Discs quick dry towel or Grandma's Dirt Bag.

RATINGS
You may play "up" but you may not play "down" a division. Player rating classifications will be strictly enforced. You will be moved to the appropriate division should your November rating affect your division registration at the time. Please contact the TD with any questions.

SIDE GAMES
CTP and Long putt prizes for each amateur division
Optional Ace Fund and 50/50 Cash CTP.

SCORING
All players must keep score. Digital is preferred. We will be using PDGA live scoring for this event.

PAYOUT
Pros: 100% cash payout. Trophy to first place in each pro division.
Amateurs: Payout to the top 45% in each amateur division. Trophies for the top three in each division with at least three participants.

Players who officially request to withdraw prior to June 4, 2024 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $5 handling fee.

Players who officially request to withdraw between June 4 and June 25, 2024 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $5 handling fee ONLY if their spot can be filled from the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled through the waitlist the player will receive a 50% cash refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event between June 26 and July 3 at 8 p.m. EDT will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $5 fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% cash refund.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from playing in the event, do not show up for the event, or try to withdraw on or after July 3 at 8 p.m. EDT forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player pack. If you have questions please contact the tournament director.
