About this tournament
Benbrook 2.0 - GRAND OPENING
❇️❇️❇️ This event is the first course reveal of the new Benbrook 2.0 layout, AND it is a fundraiser for the Hill Country Hyzers Disc Golf Club. The course is playable, but we have many upgrades in mind: improved creek crossings, hole signs, a course map, a street sign, an intricate triple mando, more benches, etc. ❇️❇️❇️
Format (MULTIPLE DIVISIONS) - Please register here, and visit the signup table at the course to settle all fees:
You can choose to play in one of the following 3 divisions (the cash pool is further split into 16 subgroups). ⚠️ Any divisions with 2 people or less MAY be condensed into a larger division. ⚠️
1️⃣ CASH POOL (16 divisions: Female, Male, under 18, over 40, Amateur, Pro, etc.)
● $25 buy-in ($10 payout, $3 Ace Pot, $2 CtP, $10 HCH club fund). Format: payout to the top 33% within each division, Ace Pot, CtPs, & HCHDGC digital standings (bragging rights) if you have a club mini ($20).
2️⃣ PRIZES (casual + prizes)
● $10 buy-in ($3 Ace Pot, $2 CtP, $5 HCH club fund). Format: Ace Pot, CtPs, & HCHDGC digital standings (bragging rights) if you have a club mini ($20).
3️⃣ CASUAL (funzies-only)
● $0 buy-in. Format: HCHDGC digital standings (bragging rights) if you have a club mini ($20), & you can have fun, play hard, & learn something.

We are ecstatic to finally unveil the completely redesigned course from Mike Olse. Benbrook 2.0 is set to host 2 national events in the coming 12 months, and we are proud to showcase the new layout to the public.
Join us to be the first to try out the new concrete tee pads and basket locations. Every hole is different from the original design. We have 7 completely new holes in the eastern portion of the park that have never been seen. Old holes 4, 5, 16, and 18 will be recognizable, but each hole has either a new tee or basket location (or both).

They were extremely generous throughout the year-long process, and we could not have made this course a reality without them. We are extremely grateful for the partnership with this local company. MINT's support has enabled our club to make some big waves in the Cedar Park, Leander, and Georgetown region.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, committed to growing disc golf in the north Austin area. We host approximately 12 low-cost disc golf events each month, attracting locals to Central Texas parks. We focus on four tenets: improving existing courses through volunteer work, advocating for new course installations, bringing new players to the game, and donating to local charities. 100% of the proceeds generated by the club go to the HCHDGC fund to finance future course improvements at Benbrook and other local disc golf venues. The Board of Directors does not accept any compensation. Connect with us if you are interested in getting more involved with the inner workings of the club.

The Hill Country Hyzers Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Please register online (FREE) so we will know how many discs to bring for the event, and visit us at the checkin table to settle all fees.
