I got an email saying the side games start at 10....would that be the CTP and long drive competition the flyer mentions?

B. Membership Requirements: Current PDGA Membership is required to compete in any Major, Elite Series, A-Tier, or B-Tier event. In all other PDGA-sanctioned events, players who are not current members may compete by paying a non-member fee (not required for Leagues, see 1.14.C.1).

So that isn't very clear to me. My SO is playing this as his first tournament. He is not a PDGA member but is active duty. Will he need to be a current PDGA member? I can get him to sign up tonight if he does.

A quick question - it says there’s a mandatory player’s meeting at 9:30 am but some tee times are as late as 2 pm. Are players teeing off that late expected to attend the meeting and hang around all day? Forgive me for thinking that’s a bit long.
