Battle of the Bags

Calling all brave golfers with an enthusiasm for challenge! This event will be a bag swap event; show up with a "normal" bag (an array of discs, not all putters or just a groove, and please leave your irreplaceables at home) and you'll be randomly reassigned a bag to play with. This means you'll have 2 rounds (shotgun start) of 18 holes to master the discs at hand. May the most adaptable player win, and may everyone have a blast on this adventure.

All donations (participant and non-participant options available) will go directly towards the coming changes to this course, moving the baskets away from the pickle ball courts. All extra proceeds will do the same.

Halpatiokee is the perfect spot for this tournament as there's no established water in play (seasonal puddles aside) and very little thick brush. It's a straight-forward par 3 course with a wide variety of shots.

Everyone is expected to treat bags/discs as their own! We are extremely excited to test out this format as it is not something we have seen before locally. We will set aside time after check-in to meet with your bag's owner and chat about what they have and throw some shots, but there should be no in-round tips given as that provides an unfair advantage. We will do our best to pair you on the same card as your bag, but you must only throw the discs given to you in your new bag. In the event that an uneven amount of players have signed up, we will have extra bags on hand.

Losing a disc is unlikely but always possible. Players will treat their new equipment with respect as if it is their own. Should a disc be lost we cannot hold any player accountable for replacement of the disc so we suggest leaving signed discs, protos, first runs, etc. at home.

There will be trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each category, cash payouts TBD based on pool sizes. We hope to have some CTPS and a small player's pack, if you'd like to donate items or time please reach out. This is the first go around so please be patient!

PLAYERS**** Please have the following prepared:
1. An inventory of the discs in your bag with the flight numbers
2. Please pack at least 10 disc options for your fellow competitor but no more than 25 for simplicity.
