About this tournament
2 rounds of play
One round at Turkey Hill Park in La Plata Maryland Red to Yellow (Check in 7:15 am to 8:00am) followed by lunch 60 minutes to include travel time to the first ever PDGA event and rated round at Barnesfield Park just across the Potomac River in King George Virginia VA. All White long tees at Barnesfield.
Fees include PDGA Fee,TD Fee, Greens Fee for both parks.(Profits from this event are being split between improvements for Barnesfield and The Fight Round 8) Player pack is being put together by Randy Newkirk and will include a towel.
There will be a 50/50 Raffle $1 per ticket, 6 tickets for $5. We will also raffle off a couple prizes.
There will be CTP's at both courses for Pros and Ams. Trophies will be ordered by division based on trophy cutoff date of January 12th, 2025.
There will be one Battle of the Potomac trophy that will be retained by a representative of the winning state to be put up for grabs at the event again in 2026 and hopefully for many events to come. That trophy will be awarded as such 2 points for the state winning a division, 1 point for the state that gets 2nd place. If there is only one player in a division the state gets 2 points for that entry. In case of a tie, whomever wins the 50/50 raffle (proceeds will go to the Fight Round 8) will be the tie breaker in case the winning raffle player is not from one of the tied states the TD/ATD will compete in a heated rock paper scissors battle to determine this year winning state with one td being assigned to each of the tied states.
MA5 ACE POT carries over from MA5 event to the next MA5 event until the final event of the year if money is left over the ace pot money is donated to a charitable disc golf event the following year.

Refund policy
MA5 Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. We will follow PDGA rules on refunds this includes $10 withheld from all refunds and withdrawls after close of published registration will not be given a refund (unless replaced by a waitlisted player at time of request) are not guaranteed a player pack.
