About this tournament

Hello and welcome to the second annual Bars or Birdies!
This year, Bars or Birdies 2 will be held at 18th Street DGC in Ferdinand, IN with proceeds going to the Fraternal Order of Police #138 Wood Capital Lodge.
“But 18th St. Park is a 9 hole course?” You’re in for a treat! We’ve shut down the park in order to feature 9 temporary holes in a never before seen layout! That means Bars or Birdies will be two rounds with each round featuring the 9 permanent baskets and 9 temporary baskets.
All divisions will be playing the same layout. This layout will be listed on uDisc by 9/22 and will be flagged the week before for those wishing to play. Baskets will not be placed until the morning of.
ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN.
Registration will close on 10/14 at 8pm Eastern.
Being an XC-Tier sanctioned tournament, the PDGA will also be donating all $2 player fees to the beneficiary and all non-PDGA player fees are waived. (Additional $10 non-member fee.) (XC-Tier means this is a charity event and players will receive ratings.)
This year we will be doing payouts instead of trophies.
Of the Open fees, $12 will go towards course fees/PDGA fees/match ($8/$2/$2), $21 will go to payout and $7 to the FOP to meet CEP requirements.
For Amateurs, $12 per player will go towards course fees/PDGA fees/match ($8/$2/$2), $10 player voucher, $12 per player will go towards payouts, and $6 towards the FOP.
