My first tournament today was fun except for the group of five ahead of us that included two small children and they didn’t care that there were probably four or five groups waiting to play behind them for most of the day. Is this typical? Because I probably will not play again.

This was an event for ALL ages to have a fun day with. It was just supposed to be a fun day, if you want something more serious, id recommend playing sanctioned events with specific divisions.

Michael--- I certainly agree with the above statement. My intent for this tournament was just something fun and light for everyone, as we did also hold a clinic in the morning. If you are looking for something more serious, I would be happy to recommend sanctioned tournaments. The area also holds ... more

Michael, I'm sorry that you did not seem to enjoy your first event experience. As pointed out by the previous replies, this event was meant to introduce new players of all ages to the game we all love. It is not uncommon to sometimes have a slight backup at even the best run events, but it was ... more

Any late registration available?

Unfortunately not. Players from the morning event will have first priority if there are open spots.

Darn. Looks like a fun tournament. Hope it goes well!

Hi I registered for the morning already but I was wondering if I could switch to Inexperienced. Also if any spots for the afternoon open up, I’d love to be added to that too. Thanks!

Sorry, I just saw this. I did switch you Amanda for the morning event. I think your best bet for afternoon is to let Kyra or myself know ASAP on the day of the tournament. I’m sure some people will not show up the day of the event. The intention was always to have that option for the morning players. In our wildest dreams we didn’t expect both events to fill.

What is BOOSTER?

Shawn Conroy   October 27, 2020 at 11:18pm

It was explained further into the registration process. The Booster was essentially a $20 donation to support the event and got you a hole sponsorship and mention in all event media while the $10 Sponsor option was just a way anyone could contribute.

What discs will be used/given??

Eric Hess   October 22, 2020 at 8:09pm

We will have exact disc information available after November 1st. This event originally was planned as a prodigy par 2. I will be submitting a layout for approval to Kyra next week. The plan is to have all holes under 200 feet and use a par 3 layout for the course. The discs will most likely be neutral to understable. One putter and one midrange for the tournament.

What manufacture are the player's pack discs/hat from?
