Bandit Cup Club Challenge 2015
About this tournament
Exclusive Invite Only Club Championship
Our plan is this - hold a cross club league championship, our best 6 players (1 pro, 1 advanced, 1 inter, 1 rec, 1 novice and 1 lady(Am1-Am3)
Outlaws will be providing The BANDIT CUP on a marble base with an engraved plate added each year for the winning club, along with the bragging rights of being the best club in the area.
Scoring:
After some lengthy discussion, we have found what we hope to be an excellent balance. Since there is no guarantee all players will show, each division can contribute to the club goal, and no advantage is given to a club with an unbalanced field. Each player will be competing for “Team Points.†The players will be competing against the other players of the same division in the other clubs, fostering a feeling team spirit and bond.
Points will be provided for each round as follows:
- 1 point for participation, awarded as long as the player completes the round, any disqualification or injury leading to non-completion no participation will be awarded.
- 1 point for each player the player beats in their division. i.e. 6 players in the pro field a maximum of 5 points can be awarded plus participation. This will encourage each club to provide a player for each division but if they are unable it may only be a loss of 1 point of participation instead of being unable to compete.
- 2 additional points will be awarded to the club with the player who receives an ACE
- 1 additional point for the hot card of each round.
Layout:
2 rounds, 6 players from each club a max of 10 clubs
18 holes each round
The Current Planned Course is The Gulch or Independence Lake but the official schedule with the park is pending
$5 per Club to help cover trophy cost
Currently 5 participating clubs
