The Female Amateur Divisions are combined to FA1 now. FA1 in all the series tournaments will be the short layout for both rounds. I am doing this primary because this is a point series and you need 3 people in a division to get points, IF there is less then 3 players you still get 1 point for player participation. I choose FA1 because that will give you the most pdga points also. Going foward all other point series will still offer FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4 and FA40 Please choose FA1. Divisions have been adjusted and capped. MPO capped at 8. MP40 capped at 5, FPO capped at 4, MA1 capped at 10, MA40 capped at 6, MA2 capped at 16, MA3 capped at 10. MA4 capped at 10 and FA4 capped at 3. FP40, FA1, FA2 and FA3 have been removed now. The female divisions were offered for more than a week per pdga 5.02.C before being removed to add more space for other players.

Michael, will preference be given for early registration for players in earlier events? With limited numbers for each division, you could have a situation where you have 8 different players signed up for the local event, whereby no player can play 2 events to qualify? Could the first event players get an extra week to register early for the next event? And so on and so forth?

I would appreciate it if you would clarify a few things about the series for me.

I understand that points are accumulated to qualify for the final non-sanctioned cash payout event. Is there a cap for the number of player spots for each division?
For instance, there are only 8 spots available for a particular division, and we compete for points to secure a spot.
Or is everyone that plays 2 or more events in the series automatically in the final event?
