BHMO Match Play (Tier 1) benefitting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
About this tournament
Welcome to the BHMO Match Play Championship. This is the Tier 1 bracket which is geared towards players with a PDGA rating of 916 and over, but players of any rating may play this bracket. This event will help raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, our charity of choice for the Brent Hambrick Memorial. Fifteen dollars from every entry fee will be added to our fundraising efforts.
The first round of the event will start on May 2nd and you will have a week (Sun-Sat) to complete each round. ALL rounds will be played at Blendon Woods Metro Park. This should allow for quick rounds, and keep it fun for all.
The schedule will be as follows:
Round 1 - May 2nd-8th
Round 2 - May 9th-15th
Round 3 - May 16th-22nd
Round 4 - May 23rd-29th
Round 5 - May 30th -June 5th
Round 6 - June 6th-June 12th
Round 7 (if needed) - June 13th-June 19th
If we get 64 players, we will be paying out the final 8 competitors and the payout will be as follows:
1st: $360
2nd: $200
3rd & 4th: $100
5th-8th - $50
If we only can attract 32, we will likely pay out the top four spots. The payout will be posted before the event starts.
