About this tournament
The Bluegrass Disc Golf Association presents the 2022 MVP Circuit Challenge at Shillito Park in Lexington KY
Join us on July 31st at Shillito Park for the 2022 MVP Circuit Challenge. $40 per person.
This event is a 1 round shotgun start that forces you to play with ONLY THE THREE DISCS IN YOUR PLAYERS PACK. We will have prizes for top 40 percent of division winners in AMs (discs) and top 50 percent in MPO (cash), and Watermelon Paradoxes to purchase ($20 each). There is an Ace pot, $2 gets you in, I'm adding another $100 to that pot, there will be two CTPs worth $50 each, everyone is automatically eligible to get those.
Shotgun start at 10AM on the 31st, packs will be handed out from 9AM to 9:45AM, holes will be assigned, we play, awards and payout for Ams and PROs after.

After a hiatus, the MVP Circuit Challenge is back! These events are a fantastic way to grow the sport and spread the love of GYRO while you’re at it. With the full backing of MVP to help you out along the way, the MVP Circuit Challenge is an ideal tournament for both new and veteran Tournament Directors alike. For 2022, the Circuit Challenge will be a 3 disc challenge — featuring an exclusive first look at 2 brand new molds from both Axiom and Streamline — that are sure to be fun for players of all skill levels!

Axiom Watermelon Paradox
Watermelon discs have been highly sought after items over the years, and we are beyond excited to welcome you into the melon patch with the Watermelon Paradox! With a speed of 5, glide of 4, turn of -4, and a fade of 0, the Watermelon Paradox is an awesome understable midrange — if you decide not to store it away as a collector’s item, that is! I will be selling them after the event for $20 each
MVP Circuit Challenge
As a 3 disc event for players of all skill levels, we thought long and hard about what discs to include for the player’s packs. We think you’ll love what we landed on! The Atom from MVP is a beloved straight flying putter that is a great first putt and approach disc — whether you’re driving, approaching, or putting with it, the Atom is very much a point-and-shoot disc. Next up is the brand new Streamline Echo in Cosmic Neutron plastic! This straight flying midrange from Streamline has just enough turn and fade to both shape lines and be reliable both forehand and backhand — sure to be hit! Lastly we have an awesome understable fairway driver in Axiom’s Rhythm! High powered players will love the easy hyzer flips and touch shots from the Rhythm, and low power players will find the Rhythm to be a perfect first driver! A well rounded pack for a well rounded event!
